Summer Employment Opportunity


The Town of Niverville is now accepting applications for a Summer Camp Assistant to work during the months of July and August.


Position Overview:
  • Position will require split shift flexibility;
  • Hours will be Monday to Friday, with varied shifts for an estimated 25-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with the Summer Day Camp Program;
  • Leading daily activities with children;
  • Supervising and providing leadership for children participating in the program; and
  • Administrative and other duties as assigned.
A satisfactory Child Abuse Registry check is a condition of employment.  Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid social insurance number.  Preference will be given to Niverville Residents.

Recreation Programmer–Term Position

The Town of Niverville is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual with a passion for recreation and wellness to apply for the full-time (Term) position of Recreation Programmer. (Term is approximately 58 weeks commencing January 15, 2018).
The Recreation Programmer will facilitate the delivery of public recreation programming to assist and enhance recreational opportunities for the community of Niverville. In collaboration with Town officials and community interest groups, the Programmer will be responsible for recreation programming, scheduling and promotion, volunteer development, facilitating resource sharing, enhancing existing
facility use, research and preparation of grant applications.


A satisfactory Child Abuse Registry check and First Aid/CPR certification are conditions of employment.
