Parks and Facilities in Niverville
Hespeler Park
Hespeler Park is a 91 acre park located in the South end of Niverville. Existing facilities include a beach volleyball court, mini and full sized soccer pitches, baseball diamonds, swing sets, a picnic shelter and the Crow Wing Trail.
Edelweiss Park
Located in the centre of Edelweiss Crescent this is beautiful, large open field perfect for soccer etc. Several access points from Edelweiss Crescent.
Opa’s Park
Opa's Park is located on the north end of Roselawn Bay and can be accessed via a walkway on the North West corner of Roselawn Bay. Opa’s park offers playstructures, a swingset and a basketball court.
Spruce Drive pocket park
The Spruce Drive pocket park is located on the corner of Spruce Drive and Fifth Avenue.
Third Street Tot Park
The Third Street Tot Park is located on Third Street North and Fourth Avenue North. This small park has one newer toddler friendly play structure.
Niverville Recreational Complex
Hockey Arena with meeting room facilities and upper area viewing room, canteen facilities and skate sharpening.
Curling Club
3 sheets of natural ice surface. Meeting room downstairs and canteen upstairs.
Fairgrounds
Located on Arena Road, the fairgrounds is an open greenspace. A small neighbourhood playground is located on the south end as well as rodeo grounds on the north end. Additionally, there is an RV park with serviced and unserviced spots available on a first come first serve basis (call the town office to reserve). This is also the site of the community composting dropoff area for leaves, grass and branches.
John Henry’s
Meeting room / banquet hall. Prices range between $150-$350 per day. Tables, chairs, dishes, powerpoint etc available for use.
